This is one of our go-to recipes in the morning. D&K lurve pancakes so we do have them a couple of times a week. Of course, I need to put a quasi healthy spin on the pancakes because I typically can’t justify serving something for breakfast that would often have the same amount of refined sugar and flour in it as actual cake 🙂
3 tbsp beet and apple puree (I used some homemade puree I had made up the day before)
3 tbsp milk kefir or probiotic yogurt
2 tbsp, heaping whole wheat flour
1 tbsp, heaping white flour
- Super Easy! Combine all ingredients until there are no lumps.
- Fry in small batches over medium heat.
- Serve with a pat of cultured butter or a couple drops of maple syrup.
